The Connections Group of companies have been operating with the same Directors since the company was formed in 1986. With a fleet of 30+ vehicles, they have the capacity to carry up to 5 EURO pallets and load weight up to 1.2 tons. Temperatures can be set between -25 and +25 degrees and vehicles have the facility to carry split loads of different temperatures. Vehicle position and load area temperature can be monitored by the customer online, in real-time with password access. Vehicles are fitted with double temperature monitors. Temperature records are kept and can be provided if required. All vehicles are built TO ATP specifications.

Pharmaceutical industry

We pride ourselves in offering a comprehensive 24/7/365 courier service to the Pharmaceutical industry. This includes arranging temperature sensitive pharmaceutical samples to be sent worldwide using our network of Heathrow agents. Based between junctions 11 and 13 of the M25, just 20 minutes from Heathrow and 45 minutes from Gatwick; ESKIMO EXPRESS is ideally placed to provide an Emergency response service. We provide a DEDICATED ONLY service within the UK, that means that once your consignment is collected, the doors are sealed until delivery is made thus ensuring temperature stability. Multi drop services upon request. Goods In Transit insurance up to £20,000.00 included but increased cover can be arranged. We are GDP compliant and all vehicles are Satellite tracked and can be fitted with Security seals.

Specialised vehicles

Due to an increasing demand from the Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors, we have recently taken delivery of some highly specialised vehicles to suit this sector. These vehicles, based on the Citroen Relay L3H2 Diesel van, converted by “Paneltex Somers” with the latest GAH refrigeration units. They feature Dual Compartments, each with an evaporator, which allows independent operation either side of the specially designed internal bulkhead. The bulkhead ensuring total temperature separation and integrity. All Temperature Controlled Vehicles are built to ATP standards. This ensures the finest build quality. In addition, each vehicle is fitted with two independent Temperature Monitors (with multiple sensors). We follow and adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations relevant to Pharmaceutical logistics.
